Intermittant load

Hi,

Anyone know why when I click on the IE Icon it sometimes
won't load, yet I look in Task Manager and iexplore.exe is
there. The next time I click on it it may or may not load
and after a few hours of surfing and opening and closing
the browser I could end up with as many as 10
iexplorer.exe loaded in Task Manager.

Also iif IE locks up and I go into Task Manager and kill
all the ones I think aren't on my screen it will work
again.

I have according to About Internet Explorer.

Version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
Cipher Strenght: 128-bit
Update Versions:; SP1; Q330994; Q824145


I've also done a windows update and nothing appeared to
need to be updated..
