Interesting Remote Desktop Problem

I have run into an interesting remote desktop problem. I
have two computers set up to accept remote desktop
connections. Both are on the same network and domain.
Computer 1 accepts connections without issue. Computer 2
connections get the "remote connection may not be
enabled ..." message. However, connecting to computer 1
from computer 2 momentarily then disconnecting opens up
a "window" of time where computer 1 can connect to
computer 2 without issue. Other client computers are
still denied access. This "window" last about 5 minutes
after which any connection attempts are again refused.
Any connection made in this "window" stays active until
disconnected (no time limit). Any ideas?

I figured it out! This problem is caused by the Symantec
Enterprise VPN Client Driver being loaded in the network
settings. The VPN client was not being used - but the
driver was loaded (this is automatic if the Symantec VPN
client has been installed - as it had been on Computer
2). Un-checking the driver box and applying the changes
solved the problem. It turns out that this also affected
NetMeeting. Computer 2 could initiate a NetMeeting, but
others could not call Computer 2 to start the meeting -
unless Computer 2 had initiated either a NetMeeting or
Remote Desktop in the last 5 minutes.
