Interesting problem...

I recently purchased an AverMedia UltraTV PCI 300 card to compliment my ATI
Rage 128 PRO video card with Rage Theater Chip. My primary purpose for this
card is to watch TV on my computer using a CATV signal (delivered via coax).

Turns out that the AverMedia card will not work because the Rage Theatre
chip because it is also able to do video capture (part of the original
reason I bought it!).

I chose the AverMedia card over an ATI TV Wonder. If I now acquire the ATI
card, will I still have the same problem? Can I only have 1 capture device
in my system at a time? Or is there a way to have multiple cards capable of
video capture and simply select the one I want "active"?

Any help will be much appreciated.

I guess the ATI software won't accept your other card, but other
programs will heartily accept your other card :)
