That's a pretty interesting article. With care one can keep those LCD's
alive and avoid additional landfill dumping, besides learning something.

Thanks for the heads up. My Samsung 912N backlight died after only 8
months use. Samsung fixed it under warranty but it took them over 4 weeks.
