interactive buttons

I wanted to know there is such a thing as a transparent
interactive buttons. I would like to use a graphic with
that contains the web contents as my home page. To keep
from being redundent I wanted to know if I could put
transparent interactive buttons over the text to access
pages. Thanks for your help!

Yes, with transparent gif images. You could also use hotspots or an image map with hotspots.
