Intellimouse Broke My PC

Help! I tried installing Intellipoint last night on my HP
machine running Windows XP. When it prompted me to
restart, I did. Now the PC won't come up at all, I get a
blank screen with a blinking cursor that I can't move. It
doesn't even get to the hardware part of the boot; the
keyboard lights don't flash at all.

Can anyone tell me how to get my computer to work, so I
can get this POS software off of it?

.Try unhooking new mouse and using old one,might allow computer to boot.
