I have the same problem. My MB is a Giga-byte 8IK1100 rev2.
Intel 875P AGPset.

Whenever I logon I get a message asking
me for drivers for an 'Unknown Device on Intel(R) 82801EB LPC Interface
Controller
- 24D0"

I have that same chipset and the only thing that won't install on my
computer (Intel Board) is the Soundblaster Game Port. I do show the LPC
interface in device manager under System Devices. The driver for it seems
to be msisadrv.sys version 6.0.5384.4(winmain_beta.2---) dated 6/21/2006
(strange date.)

Since yours is talking about something ON the interface, does anything show
up in Device Manager with yellow question marks? Anything on the USB or PCI
busses that do not have an entry?

It's showing under Other Devices.
Vendor is Intel.

When i'am looking under details it's showing the following information under
parents
