Intel(r) 82801DB/DBM AC '97 Audio Controller

I have this driver installed
Microsoft
6/21/2006
6.0.5384.4
My sound does not work...yes my speakers are plugged in and all that if i
boot into XP my sound works just fine.

Anyone know of a different driver that will work or if there is a setting I
am missing?
 
I have the same audio controller and there's no problem. Maybe you should
uninstall it then reinstall it?..i don't know.
 
I have the 82801BA/BAM...and my driver works ok. The only issue is when I
test a test the right and left channeld are reversed.
