Intel pro 1000 nic

Has anyone had experience with these network adapters
disappearing out of the network and dialup connections?
The server does not loose connectivity and I can still
view the network settings using ipconfig but I get an
error if I try to view them from the network connections
properties. Error is "An unexpected error has occured"
Anyone have any ideas?

I have had this same problem. The server is a dell poweredge 2600. I
believe that the onboard Nic is the one causing the problem... Have you
downloaded the latest drivers...not that that has solved the problem for me.
Let me know if you figure it out.
