Intel d865perl and W2k

Hi,
Is the intel d865perl motherboard compatible with W2k ?

I've just upgrade my pc with an intel d865perl motherboard
and P4 3ghz. I'm not able to install w2k: the instal
procedure starts looking for hardware and after few
seconds i got an 'I/O error - status 00001000 UNABLE TO
FIND BOOT DEVICES'.
If i mount my hard-disk with w2k already installed, the
system boots i can see the progress bar under on the
bottom of the secreen. When this bar has finishedi got a
blue screen: STOP: INACESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

I tried windowsXp and it's Ok....

any suggestion?

My best guess is that you are running the hard drive on the SATA RAID
instead of the ATA133 channel. If you do this, you have to *F6* and load
the correct driver for the RAID during Win2K install. WinXP may already
include this driver, so it would be easier to install.

The problem is that i am not able to reach the point of
installation in wich i can press *F6*.
When i boot from my w2k cd, the system wait for 30 seconds
(more or less). During this time the cd works a lot, and i
can see the message: 'Verifica della configurazione in
corso' (In italian language, of course, that's to
say 'testing hardware'). Then i have this message:
Disk I/O error: Status = 00001000
NTDETECT Fallita. (it means NTDETECT failed)

many thanks for your help!
