any one expierience the performance difference between these 2?

one is faster than the other, go figure.
if you want people to be more specific then maybe you should put more
effort in your question.

This review compares all socket 478 Northwood and Prescott 2.8GHz,
3.0GHz, 3.2GHz and 3.4GHz 800FSB processors against the socket 754
Athlon 64 3400+. http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-208-1.htm

....and this review has an even greater range of comparisons.

More comparisons that include the 3.4GHz Northwood:

They will all explain the performance differences in much greater detail
than I or anyone else here could ever be bothered to go into.

The 3.4 GHz model runs 6% faster than the 3.2. I doubt you would notice the
difference in typical apps.
