insufficient storage to download SP2

Have 628MB of free space on C drive with total size of 7.43GB and 10.9GB of
free space on D drive with total size of 11.1GB. After downloading SP2,
received message that it could not install SP2 - insufficient storage space.
How can I move 3GB from D drive to C drive? Thanks.

Try shifting 3 gigs worth of non-critical files from C > D ( deleting
originals), installing SP2 and then bring back what you need post install.

I would suggest instead you park material onto D - if only temporarily.
You can move your My Documents folder across, also set Temporary
Internet files there. And the page file at Control Panel - System -
Advanced - Performance Settings - Advanced - Virtual Memory, Change,
select the D: set it as System managed, click Set, then select C: set
Custom, initial 2 max 60 and click Set. OK and reboot. It is not the
ideal place for it; but a lot less work than resizing things
