I am receiving a lsass.exe system error that says "Insufficient resources
exist to complete api" when i boot. I also sometimes get a lsass.exe
Operation Failed "The requested operation was unsuccessful." when i try to
boot. This started after a quick power outage while the computer was on. I
know this can happen when you try to hibernate or when you get a virus, but i
dont hibernate and i have only been playing a single player game for the last
week. Although I was conencted to the net i have not been surfing or
downloading anything. As far as i know, the computer was idling when the
power outage happened. My bios seems to register my hard drive and memory
correctly as well.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of this virus but i believe it has
something to do with the power outage, since it began happening on the next
boot and the fact that i have only been using this computer to play a single
player game. I have not gone to any sites other that gamefaqs.com nor do i
even have an email account on this comp set up. I just did he bootfix
command from the recovery console and it did not help. any other thoughts?

nm fixed the issue in the recovery console by deleting some fles. turns out i
was just out of space.
