Installshield gremlin

My sister is having problems installing Heroes of Might
and Magic 3 and 4 on her home computer running XP. The
installshield comes up and pretends to install the game,
stays on screen for a minute or two reading 100% and then
disappears. Subsequent checking shows nothing has been
installed. Why is this happening?? Does anyone have any
helpful ideas??

I don't know how this could be happening, as I also have
Homm3 & 4 on my PC running winXP ( Installed without a
hitch ). However, it could possibly be beneficial to
include your system specs.

I'd check in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services and make sure
Cryptographic Services is turned on and running. If it already is (it can
be started by right-clicking and selecting Start), make sure all your
background programs, especially your anti-virus and any third-party firewall
like ZoneAlarm, are shut down.
