Original configuration during boot up. What I mean is before Windows starts,
I have the black and white text screen called Hardware profile/configuration
Recovery Menu stating I have TWO original configuration and I have to press
enter everytime I boot the system! How do I get rid of one of them or rid of
the screen/menu at bootup? Searching here or KB results in nothing; used
"configuration recovery menu") as that's exactly what the screen said!

Go to Control Panel and double click the System icon.
Click on the Hardware tab.
In the Hardware Profiles section, click on the Hardware
Profiles button.
You should see something like "Profile 1 (current)" in the
"Available hardware profiles" box.
If there are additional entries, you can do the following.
Click on the extra hardware profile to highlight it and hit the
Properties button.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Always include this
profile as an option when Windows starts".
Click OK three times.
Reboot to see if you get the desired results.
After using your computer for a reasonable amount of time you
can go back and delete the extra profile(s).

FYI, Google returned numerous references to your issue.
