Installing XP professional

While trying to install XP SP2 from CD into HDD , it stopped and displayed
the message : Error 1073705676 at line 1706 in
xpsprtm\base\boot\setup\arcdisp.c.

Installing XP PRO with SP2 or XP SP2,if the earlier,what OS are you
installing
from...Either way,install xp pro cd,boot to xp pro cd (set BIOS for this if
needed,
1st boot device or similiar),once at xp cd boot menu,select install,delete
the
partition(s),create one,then xp formats & installs auto...(a clean
installation)
