Installing XP Pro over XP Home?

I have a new Dell D500, replacing an older model. I came
with XP Home installed and I want to install XP Pro on
the machine. Is there anything special I should know
about how to do this?
 
No, other than turning of any virus scan, spy sweeper, firewall, etc and
turn off any high-speed internet access tilll your done.
