installing XP Pro over XP home

I currently have XP home on my PC but was given a copy of
XP Pro. can in install it :over" my existing XP home?
 
Hi

What kind of CD is it? If it is an OEM version, then you will only be able
to perform a 'Clean' install. Normally there shouldn't be any problems, but
you may like to backup your valuable data file beforehand.
