Installing XP From Scratch

I've slipstreamed SP2 and drivers. However the CD did not detect the IDE
drives on the PCI card. I restarted the computer and pressed F6 and used the
floppy:

I got the INF and SYS files not found for the ALi card. However it appears
to have loaded.
I still had to manually find some driver files for the 82945G chipset.
Hi Def audio had to be manually installed and files found manually also.
USB mass storage devices - I had to manually install and use automatically
locate.
Huawei Mobile Connect - I had to manually install and use automatically
locate.

Also:
How can I change the CD ROM letter instead of using computer manager
afterwards?
How can I integrate reg files (default mouse/current user mouse/default num
lock/current user numlock).
I still had to set the time zone even though I had done this during the slip
stream process.

Thanks,
J.

It was nLite that I used. But I haven't found how to integrate the reg
files/settings.

so I could use RegEntries.ini file:
[General]
builddate=19/09/2008
description=My REG entries for for Windows XP
language=English
title=My Update Pack
version=1
website=http://www.website.com forcelang=English[registry_addreg]
HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows","Test",0,"Oh" On the last line: copy the
values from the REG files.

Now how to figure out how to change drive letters (e.g. DVD-RW and USB
drives)

Why do you need to change the drive letter?

Have a look here, under the section titled:
Version 1.4 and newer
http://www.nliteos.com/addons/

If that doesn't work then possible a .bat file that
executes a .reg file containing the reg settings,
