Installing SCSI drives on XP Pro Setup

I have a SATA hard drive and i'm TRYING to install Windows
XP. When i press F6 to install a third party driver i
install my disk (which i had to manually copy files onto
from the Motherboard CD) and it gives me the following
error message "section files SCSI. Si3112r of the INF file
is invalid" What do i do? Please help

Shouldn't have to install any drivers if you are just setting up the drive
as regular SATA drive. Do just like you do with IDE drive. Just make sure
the BIOS is set to recognize your SATA drive.
My wife and i both use SATA board computers and i don't l;oad any special
drivers.
Just set my BIOS to enhanced mode or Auto and it will read both types of
drives.
We have DFI and Intel boards.
