Hi,
I recently got a bad virus and had to rebuild my
machine.. i reinstalled XP on it not realising that when i
reactivated it, it would not be recognised by microsoft
(BIG oversight i know) ... is there any way i can sort
this out without having to buy a new licence or anything
as the computer XP was origionally installed on pretty
much doesnt exist anymore :S

Lizzie;
At activation, choose the option to activate by phone.
Call Microsoft at the displayed number, done in about 5 minutes.
