installing winxp pro (english) over german xp home

i currently have german version of winxp home edition on
my computer (as i had german wife). would it be possible
to install winxp pro over the home edition??

Why not dual-boot so the German and English are separate?

Install xp cd,exit the info page if explorer is open,restart computer,boot t
xp cd,then at info page select install xp,new copy,delete old OS partition (Home XP)
then let it reformatt the hd,and it installs xp auto.

One cannot upgrade from one language version of Windows
to another language version of Windows. You'll have to
purchase a "Full English Version" of Windows XP Pro,
reformat your drive and install it "clean".

Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.
