Installing windowsxp Home

I am trying to install windows xp home.Under the hardware
issues. It tells me to remover microsoft shared fax
client. It also says to remove it from add and remove
programs and then it will install. I have looked and can
not find any items under my programs. Am I disabling my
internet? I have a cable modem external. It is a blocking
issue. Walter
 
Try looking in the Windows Components section of Add and Remove Programs.
