Installing WIndows 2000

Hi. I tried installing windows 2000 in my newly assembled
PC but I had encounter some problems. First, I try to
perform clean install (running the winnt.exe from the cd)
but some files are not copied like applic~1.dll or
something. Then I tried to copy the i386 folder in my
drive C and run the winnt.exe and the same problem
happens. I tried to first install Windows 98 then upgrade
it to Windows 2000 but the same problem happened. The
installation process stops because some files are not
copied. I tried to use a Ghost image of a base image from
other PC and I got a blue screen error saying
that "inaccesible_boot_device". I badly need your help.

Sound likes either you got a bad copy of Windows 2000
source! If not it's your harddrive. Have you try to
delete the partition, re-create the partition and format
with NTFS. Try it and let me know if it help; otherwise,
I will suggest some more steps. Good luck!
