Jeff

that is the exact message I get, strange enough, only windows 2000 gives me
this error from dos, I run winnt.exe, it then says "setup cannot continue,
unable to install boot loader"....other operating systems are ok from dos,
but only win 2000 gives me this...........very very frustrating since I need
to use this, .......any advice??

thanks

What are you trying to do??? install programs from DOS?
W2k doesn't support DOS, it runs in a shell within the W2k
GUI only!

if your trying to install w2k you can't be within a DOS
environment and run the install, you MUST boot with the
install CD and run the install from the CD.

If you're trying to install 2000 from DO you'll NOT succeed! Try booting up
using the CD-ROM (yes it's bootable)...after setting up your sytem to boot
up using the CD-ROM drive...do this in the BIOS!

Then follow the instructions on the screen...that's it...
