installing windows 2000 pro

Hi bloks..

I had a win ME system affected by a virus so I decided to
format the computer and install win2000 professional.. but
I am unable to install win 2000. I have tried booting from
the CD.. when i execute the setup file it dosent do any
thing... my h/w configurations are 56mb RAM and amd
athelon processor..I am not familar with booting
procedures ... though its a very small problem it makes a
big difference for me if any of u guys help me in solving
the problem

Count on W2k taking up to 5gig with archiving SP's, etc. along with applications,
and I.E./O.E.
Every upgrade in getting to be real space hogs.
And you need a bunch to keep an ERD and Full Backup, if you leave one on the HDD
