Installing win2k on a Dell Dimension

I have a Dell Dimension which had ME previously installed. I proceeded to delete the primary DOS partition and reboot with a win2k CD.i go through the prompt and see it loading files etc... Accept the terms and conditions of the license agreemen
When i get to the blue screen where it shows the horizontal status bar of the installation there is nothing there like and that is as far as I ge
Is there a problem or have I done something wron
Any help would be greatly appreciate

You can boot from the win2k cd, you may have to enable this in the bios
first, the menu will then give the option to format etc, prior to the
install.
If its giving problems installing disconect all extra hardware,
keyb,mouse,display only
