installing win XP pro.

Have tried to install XL Pro.(on my not book) several
times but refuses to install and comes up with the
following messages AFTER THE INSTALL STARTS.

Set-up failed to the product catalogs.
The set-up file should contain more information.
Error
C:\ WINDOWS \SYSTEM\CPL32APL.CPL Failed unexpectedly.
Error.1 [ERROR=1]

System file time out of sync
80060101

Please verify that your computer is using the correct time
and date and rerun set-up
ASSINING BIOS.
