Installing updates?

John

It is becoming aannoyning: The little yellow shield, informing me that Microsoft
want to install an update, keeps appearing on my computer.
Since I just re-installed Win XP, I figured there would be quite a few updates.
However, this one is different. After trying to install it, a message pops up
telling me that
"Updates were unable to be successfully installed.
The following updates were not installed: Office 2003 Service Pack 1"

Problem is: I don't have Office 2003 installed, unless it is referring to Front
Page 2003 which I recently purchased and installed. (I do have some programs
from Office 97.)

Any advice on how to stop getting reminded every few minutes to install this
update?

Thanks!

The update also applies to FrontPage...install it.

Problem is, Carey, as I said in my OP
After trying to install it, a message pops up
telling me that
"Updates were unable to be successfully installed.
The following updates were not installed: Office 2003 Service Pack 1"

Then a few minutes later, I am again told that there's an update.
I again tell it to install, and again the above message is returned

Etc etc etc etc
