Installing updates for program drivers

I have Nero 6 installed on my computer..when I recently opened up program..I
have an update which is now available for my Nero 6 program driver...my
question is which is the safest way to install the update...should I install
and run update right away or should I save it first and install later...I
would like some suggessions on which way I should proceed...please help!!!!!!

Hi,

Save it first. That way you will have it if you ever have to re-install
it. Many folks keep a folder on a separate drive or partition, or on a
CD, the programs and updates they have installed. Also, if you were
suspicious of the file, you could scan it first with your anti-virus.
