Installing the task scheduler to systems where it is missing.

I have been trying to find a way to install the task sceduler to
systems i have in the field.
When these set top boxes where sold they had the task scheduler
disabled.
From googling i have found that installation on regular system

involves "right clicking"
c:\winnt\inf\mstask.inf and choosing install. but obviously this is
not present xp embedded.
how can I use this inf to install the task schedular system?
