installing sims game

I bought the new sims superstar and vacation package and have tried to
install it, I previously had installed the sims and livin large and have used
it for awhile. Now my computer says I don't have the sims and have to
reinstall it in order to install the new ones. I tried to install sims again
and I get the message "16 Bit windows subsystem
C:\windows\system\autoexec.nt the system is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the
application" I don't know what is wrong because the livin large has always
worked and so did the sims original, even on my older computer. Help please!!

Hi gemini73,

Have a look at the information here:
MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program Error Message
