You really need to use matched RAM modules. Have a look in the manual for your motherboard - it will show you there the type of RAM module(s) you need.

You must use the correct RAM for your model of computer and it must match
the RAM that is already in your computer. To remove all doubts, use the RAM
selector at www.crucial.com. Yo don't have to buy memory from Crucial, but
they will give the correct specifications.
On a personal note, I would only buy top quality, brand new RAM.
