Installing Programs

When I install new programs, it adds them to the Menu for all users. How do
I prevent this? How do I remove a program on a menu?
 
This is a vista general problem; not an install/setup vista problem. What
menu for all users do you mean? The Start menu? If so put up start
menu>rt. click the particular program>select remove from this list.

When I Right Click on the item, there is no "Remove From List" option. If I
delete it, it also effects the other users.
 
This is up to whoever programmed the installer. Some programs give an option
to install for just this user or all users. If they didn't program in this
option then you're out of luck.
