I have several programs which need to be installed on a local WinXP-Pro
machine which is connected to a network domain. I need to run these programs
while connected to this domain. When I try to install the programs I get an
error stating that I do not have permission to do so. THe programs are
autocad 2000, Pcad200, Plus others.
If I am an administrator on the domain an log into the local machine
everything works. I cannot have the users of the local machine use
administrator priv's.

Thank you in advanced for the assistance.

Any user other than Administrator must be given specific permission to
install programs (Microsoft approved programs are differentiated from
non-Microsoft). Once you install the programs via Administrator rights, you
can use NTFS permissions to restrict access either through the network or
locally.
