Ok.

I have 2 Main Hard Drives. Drive C: and Drive D:

Drive C: is 74.5 G.B.

Drive D: is 38.1 G.B.

Windows XP Home Edition is installed on Drive C:

My Computer is: AMD Athlon (tm) XP 2000 +
1.67 GHz, 768 MB or RAM.

I just Re-Formatted my Computer and Re-Installed Windows XP Home
Edition on it.
At first it was giving me trouble, it was tell me - Windows was not
installed properly, please choose SAFE MODE or RUN WINDOWS NORMALLY
etc...etc...

I took it to a Computer Repair Man, he looked at it, and clicked on RUN
WINDOWS NORMALLY and it started working! No problem ok.

Now when I took it home, I was excited to begin installing programs on
it.

The Basic Video and Audio Drivers, some Windows XP Updates and minor
Freeware Program Downloads install will no problem!

But the headaches begin when many other programs don't install! For
example, Windows Firefox starts installing, but just when you think it
will complete, it blinks out! It stops installing?

Does this mean I Installed Windows XP Home Edition Improperly? Will I
have to Re-Install Windows XP Home Edition Again? What should I do?

I would appreciate your help in this matter.

Thank you!

If you ran the xp installation with 2 hds installed, yes you need to
reinstall xp.
Only have the needed hardware plugged in at install (hds, printers, etc) all
must
be removed before hand...Reinstall after xp is up & running.
