installing program from cd problem

i run windows 2000 pro i ahve tried to install a program
from cd and it says specified file and path and device
denied i have never had this problem before it is
compatible with 2000 all my other programs will install
with a cd not this one any help would be appreciated
 
What is the drive and path to which you are trying to install this
application?
