Installing Printer

Am trying to install a HP Neeg Professor 2100 series
printer into new Sony Computer using Windows XP this
printer is plugged into usb port. Windows does not
recognize printer as a plug in. HELP

The way this works is - you plug the printer into your computer and the
device tells XP what it is (and you get a little bubble saying it found XXX
device). If, as you say, "XP doesn't recognize the printer" - that means the
printer did not tell XP what it is. I'm searching the internet and can not
find any HP product by the name of "Neeg Professor", but there is an HP
2100.

I recommend you check out he HP web site for drivers to install.
