Installing PCI USB Root Hub Problem

I've just installed a new USB 2.0 Root Hub into my PCI slot. However, XP will
not install it. It recognises the fact that it's there, but when it tries to
install it, it cannot find any drivers (even if I connect to the internet).
I'm using Service Pack 2.

The card's working fine as I've installed it into another PC and was
recognised and installed without any problems.

Did it come with a driver disk? What do the installation instructions say?
What error messages are produced?

The driver disk supplied is for XP Service Pack 1/Windows 2000/98/ME.

Should self-install for XP Service Pack 2, according to the manual, which it
does on my other machine.

There are no error messages, Windows just states that it can't find a driver
