Installing outlook using CIW

Building a package through a the CIW that will allow me to push ne
installs down to computers in an un-attended format. Within the CIW i
is stated that you can use the environment variable %username% eithe
for the profile name or the mailbox name. My problem is that when usin
this variable, it is not pulling this information. Anyone have an
experience with using CIW and packaged installs of Outlook 2000?

%username% should work fine for setting the mailbox name, but it's
definitely not supported for setting the profile name. In other words,
you'll need to use the same profile name for everyone. That's no problem, of
course, if everyone logs on with their own Windows login.

Hi

I'm working on a similar issue. I to have set the mailbox
name to use %username% and the profile to "outlook" for my
tests. Yet every time I install outlook2k It keeps the
internet service installed and doesn't install the
exchange service. Any ideas.

OS to install on Win98SE
Outlook 98 internet only installed

TIA
Mike
