Installing Older Version of Internet Explorer

I'm developing a website, and would like to test it's appearance using an earlier version of Internet Explorer. I have a copy of IE 5.0 on CD and would like to know if/how to install it independent of IE 6.0 I am currently using. I don't want it to mess up IE 6.0 or its Registry entries. Is it possible to have both versions on the same machine at the same time? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

It is possible, sort of. It's not good enough for normal use, but it is
more than good enough for testing. See:

The big problem for you is that you need Windows 2000 or XP, preferably XP.

On my XP machine I have the latest IE6, plus IE5.01 and IE5.5.
