IE6 version problem

Hello,

One of our software suites use mshtml.dll to check if IE 6.0 is
installed.
In our case we are running windows 2000 SP4 with IE 6.0 SP1 installed
Our Windows 2000 server is set up as a Terminal Server with Citrix
Metaframe.
Our software suite we want to install fails because it says IE 6 is not
installed.
When i open a internet explorer window it shows the nice IE 6 splash
screen so i presume IE 6 is installed HOWEVER, when i check the version
numbers of both iexplore.exe and mshtml.dll it says 5.0.2920.0

Does any of you know how i can get the version number to 6.x.xxxx so
our software suite will install?

Hi IntenSi,

In your Internet Explorer folder you should find ie6setup.exe. Just run that
to apply the v6 sp1.

Hello,

I have treid reinstalling âlready a few times, but the mshtml.dll file
won't update.
The problem is now on 2 ifferent windows 2000 server's.

Any idea's ?
