installing old games

I am trying to install some old Windows 95/98 games on my
laptop with Windows 2000. The installation isn't working -
indicates it only works on earlier version of windows.
Is there some patch or other program I can download that
will allow me to install and run these programs on Windows
2000?

Try this, but if the game is trying to directly access hardware, you're
out of luck unless you install a copy of the other operating system.
