INSTALLING OFFICE JET T45 IN WINDOWS XP

WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL THIS DEVICE WINDOWS TELLS ME IT IS
NOT COMPATIBLE. I WENT TO ALL IN ONE WEB SITE AND
DOWNLOADED THE DRIVER THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO FIX THE
PROBLEM. WHEN I HIT PRINT IT TAKES ME TO FAX. I ALSO GET
AN ERROR MESSAGE.
 
Please turn off your Caps Lock. It's considered shouting, is extremely rude
and makes your posting very difficult to read.

Go into the Control Panel, click on Printers & Faxes. Right click on the
Printer.... highlight Set as Default.

If you still get an error message, please post the EXACT TEXT of the error
message in your response.
