Installing Nortel VPN on WinXP Pro - Blue Screen!!

I am trying to install Nortel Contivity VPN client on a
brand new Gateway laptop with Win XP Pro... nada.. I get
the blue screen, re-re-re-boot, freeze.

All suggestions and comments welcome!!!

Which version of the VPN client are you trying to install? Have you checked
their website for an updated VPN client?

The following VPN client programs are blocked from being installed on a
Windows XP-based computer. Note that a hardblock indicates that an upgrade
from a previous operating system to Windows XP will be blocked until the
client program is uninstalled. A softblock indicates that upgrades will not
be blocked, but the installation of the client on a Windows XP-based
computer will not be allowed.
