Installing New fonts

I am having trouble installing new fonts on to my computer. It seems that the
option to "install new fonts" under the file option is not displayed. Any
ideas?

"You can also drag OpenType, TrueType, Type 1, and raster fonts from another
location to add them to the Fonts folder. This works only if the font is not
already in the Fonts folder."

Try this to see if it helps to fix your Fonts folder.

Open a command prompt...
Start | Run | Type: cmd | Click OK |
In the command prompt type:

cd\windows

Hit your Enter key.

Then type:

attrib +s +r fonts

Hit your Enter key.

Close the command prompt and reboot your computer.

The above from this...

If that did not help, either post back or see: Windows 2000 under RESOLUTION
in the above article.
