Hi,

I've got 3 partitions with XP installed on one of
them. I've got a Windows 2000 setup disk and I'd like to
install it on the 2nd partition, and a Linux setup disk
for the 3rd. Of course I'd like it to give me a choice
when I'm booting up. Problem is it's ignoring the W2K
setup disk and booting straight to XP. How can I install
W2K on the 2nd partition?

Thanks,
Robert

Well when you install W2K you will break XP because the loader will be
replaced. Copy the NTLDR, ntdetect.com and boot.ini to a formatted GUI mode
floppy before installing Windows 2000. As for getting 2000 to install, boot
the CD and you should be fine. Make sure the BIOS is set to boot CD first.
