Installing MS Query

Hi
I need to install MS Query and also check if its already installed. How do I do that
The help given in Excel says I have to do that by going to Add/Remove programs but doing so triggers the dialog box to removing excel from my system

That depende on choices made on installing. If you (or the default setting)
chose "not available" then maybe you must deinstall and reinstall with
choice cutsom install. If you chose "install on first use" then try Excel
menu Data > Get external data > New database query. Excel should -in theory-
state that Query is not installed, ask for the instrallation Cd and get it
from there.
