Installing Fonts

Hello.
I downloaded free .TTF files from a few sites. When I try
to install the fonts into the Fonts folder, I get the
following message: "The *** file is currently being used
and cannot be replaced. Wait until Windows is finished
using the file, and then try again." This happens using
File>Intall New Fonts and drag and drop. I have shut down
and tried again. No other programs are open. Any ideas?

What is the name font are you trying to install?

Is the version of the font you are trying to install different than
the currently installed one? (double click the font to see examples)

If it isn't different or you don't want to replace that font you can
skip the files that exist (choose NO when prompted to overwrite) and
install the other fonts
