installing dvdr

i tired it but on advance bios first boot choices are only as follows: floppy; Ls120;hdd-0;scsi;cdrom;hdd1;hdd2;hdd3
On chip SATA is set on auto. should i make the dvdr slave or master if ide1 on configuration has nothing except the dvdr? thanks!

Try configuring as "cable select" first then try "master" if unsuccessful.
